タイトル Aurantibrevibacter litoralis gen. nov. sp. nov. a Novel Member in the Family Flavobacteriaceae Isolated from Sediment of Tidal Flat Located in Ningbo, China.

Abstract A Gram-stain-negative, rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated GZD-96T, characterized by strictly aerobic metabolism, was isolated from tidal flat collected at Sanbei Shoal, Ningbo, China. This strictly aerobic strain formed orange, round, convex colonies on marine agar at 37 °C. It exhibited growth at 10-40 °C (optimum: 37 °C), 0-7% NaCl (optimum: 1%), and pH 5.5-9.5 (optimum: pH 8.0). Microscopic examination revealed short rod-shaped cells measuring 0.4-0.5 μm in width and 1.0-1.1 μm in length. The respiratory quinone profile of strain GZD-96T was dominated by menaquinone-6. Polar lipids comprised phosphatidylethanolamine, additional lipids, identified amino phospholipids, glycolipids, and amino lipids. The predominant fatty acids (> 10%) included Summed feature 3 (comprising C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c), iso-C15:0, C16:0, and iso-C17:0 3-OH. The genomic DNA of strain GZD-96T exhibited a G + C content of 39.4%, as determined by genome sequence analysis. Phylogenetic analysis based on the 16S rRNA gene sequence indicated the closest relative to be Arenibacter troitsensis KMM 3674T, with a sequence similarity of 94.7%. The average nucleotide identity (ANI), digit DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH), and average amino acid identity (AAI) values between strain GZD-96T and closely related taxa were 69.79-70.54%, 16.80-18.20%, and 65.57-67.83%, respectively. Based on phylogenetic, chemotaxonomic, and genomic evidence, strain GZD-96T is proposed to represent a novel genus and species within the family Flavobacteriaceae, for which the name Aurantibrevibacter litoralis gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is GZD-96T (= MCCC 1K08935T = KCTC 102227T).
